General terms and conditions

For photo booth and audio guestbook rental and agreed additional services.

1. Provider and scope

Sascha Mannel · Photobooth Germany Wolfsschlucht 25 34117 Kassel Germany

These terms apply to new contracts with consumers and businesses where provided before the contract is concluded and validly incorporated. Individual agreements take precedence. Changes to this website do not amend existing contracts.

2. Enquiries and conclusion of contract

The website invites non-binding enquiries. The enquiry form prepares an email in your email app. Your enquiry is sent to us only when you send that email. This does not make a booking or create a payment obligation. Following your enquiry by email or telephone, a booking is made through our date confirmation by email or telephone once the essential services and price have been agreed. The prepared-email notice confirms neither delivery nor a booking.

The package, date, scope, total price and payment terms are agreed when booking. We then coordinate delivery and collection details, the photo layout and requested add-ons with you. Paid extras are added only by separate agreement. We provide these terms and applicable consumer information before the contract is concluded. For distance contracts with consumers, the contract confirmation and required information are supplied on a durable medium, such as email; this also applies to telephone bookings.

3. Prices and payment

Euro prices shown on the website include 19% VAT. Prices stated as “from” refer to the respective base package. Any additional travel or add-on costs are specified in the offer before the contract is concluded. For photo booth bookings, we issue the invoice after collection of the booth. Payment is due within the period stated on the invoice, between 7 and 14 days after receipt. Different terms for other services require express agreement.

4. Services and customer cooperation

The agreed offer determines the services. The customer provides agreed access to the venue and a dry, safe and suitable setup area with suitable power supply. Equipment must be handled with care and in accordance with instructions; unauthorized technical modifications are not permitted.

Apparent faults or damage should be reported promptly so that they can be remedied. Statutory defect rights remain unaffected. We may temporarily suspend operation in the event of a specific danger; payment and refund consequences are governed by law.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

Any statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. Cancellation is free of charge until eight weeks before the agreed event date. Outside that right, you may request cancellation or rescheduling. Where a claim for payment or damages exists, saved expenses and any applicable alternative use are taken into account. These terms impose no flat cancellation fees. Statutory termination and rescission rights remain unaffected.

6. Liability and damage

Our liability and the customer’s liability are governed by law. The customer does not assume strict liability for all event guests. Normal wear from contractual use is not compensable damage. No flat replacement or downtime fees apply.

Statutory rights apply to outages, defects or impossibility of performance, including any rights to price reduction, refunds and damages. A voucher replaces an existing refund entitlement only with the customer’s agreement.

7. Images, audio and AI

A booking is not consent from all guests to recording or publishing their images or voices. Privacy information and any required consent must be provided or obtained before the relevant recording or AI processing. Each party’s statutory responsibilities remain unaffected.

Using guest recordings in our own advertising is not part of a booking and requires separate permission. AI portraits are an optional paid add-on. Scope, price and delivery are specified in the offer. Example images on this website are AI-generated illustrations; identical individual results are not promised.

8. Consumer dispute resolution

We are generally willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body. We currently have no participation agreement with a specific body. Participation and the competent body will be clarified for the individual dispute. We are not subject to a statutory obligation to participate.

9. Applicable law

German law applies. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence. Statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
